Job Description

1. Execute the complete import process for raw materials (steel/metal), heavy machinery, and technical spare parts from purchasing to delivery at the warehouse.
2. Review and verify technical specifications, mill test certificates, and engineering drawings from overseas suppliers to ensure they match the company’s production requirements.
3. Search for and negotiate with global suppliers regarding price, quality, and lead time, utilizing engineering knowledge to assess product suitability.
4. Manage import documents (PO, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, Form E/D) and ensure strict compliance with Indonesian Customs regulations, including HS Code classification for metal products and Import Licensing (PI/Lartas Besi Baja).
5. Coordinate with Freight Forwarders and PPJK for shipment scheduling, customs clearance, and inland trucking.
6. Collaborate with the PPIC and Warehouse teams to ensure stock levels of critical spare parts and materials are maintained.
